If you are waxing your piece in a cold area your wax is likely to be cold, this will make it much harder to wax, think of buttering your toast just as its come out of the fridge, the butter that is. If you keep your butter at room temperature it goes on easily, well its just the same for wax. Before you star,t bring your wax into a warm place for an hour or two and it will go on like cream ...... or butter on your toast!
